This apartment is situated on the third floor (second floor for Europeans) of a 19th century low-rise building amongst the nineteenth century townhomes and exciting nightlife of Murray Hill. In the building there is a complimentary laundry room in the basement.
Please note that these are two private bedrooms in a shared apartment. The living room, kitchen, and B\bathroom are shared with a roommate.
Bedroom 1 is the first private room for rent. The room has a bed with bedding, hardwood floors, a desk with seating, a wardrobe for clothing storage, and a large window offering optimum sunlight.
Bedroom 2 is the second private room for rent. The room has a bed, sheets, hardwood floors, a desk, large window, and a fireplace.
The shared living room has hardwood flooring, a petite sofa that doubles as a bed, a flat screen cable TV, and a dining table with seating for two. This room leads into the open kitchen, which is equipped with a fridge/freezer, oven with stovetops, microwave, and plenty of cabinet space. The shared bathroom has a walk-in shower, W/C, and towels provided.
Murray Hill is a Midtown neighborhood that is known for its nightlife, as well as restaurants, cafes, and specialty shops. Just across the street you will find Rare Bar & Grill (203 ft/62 m), a hotel grill and rooftop bar offering steakhouse burgers & fries with dipping sauces. You are not far from one of Manhattan’s favorite parks, Bryant Park (0.6 mi/900 m). A NYC scenic landmark, Bryant Park is a stunning green space that is surrounded by the skyscrapers of midtown. The New York Public Library-Stephen A. Schwarzman Building lines the stunning park, and is a Beaux Arts building that is flanked by iconic stone lions.
The subway at 33 Street/Park Avenue South (0.3 mi/500 m) connects you to lines 4 and 6, and the subway at 42 Street/Lexington Avenue: Grand Central (0.3 mi/550 m) connects you to the 4, 5, 6, 7, and S trains.
