Live like a Brooklynite when you rent this furnished 2 bedroom/1.5 bath Brooklyn apartment. The apartment is located on the 2nd & 3rd floors (1st & 2nd floors European) of a multi-family house in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn near 71st street & 14th Avenue.
This furnished 2 bedroom/1.5 bath apartment features wood floors and air conditioning throughout and is fitted with all you could need for your time in NYC. As you enter, the living room area faces the front of the house and is furnished with a black leather sofa to lounge on and a side chair, coffee table and a flat screen TV for entertainment. Colorful artwork depicting the Brooklyn Bridge and lower Manhattan skyline decorate the wall with a NYC flair. You’ll also find a desk and chair where you can get some work or studying done. In the corner near the kitchen is a dining table with seats and a bench so you can sit down to a meal in the comfort of your apartment. There is also bar stool seating by the countertop that opens into the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and plenty of cabinets to store away groceries. As you head up a couple of stairs you reach the area with bedrooms facing the back of the building. Bedroom 1 is furnished with both a twin size and a queen size bed, along with a night table, dresser and closet for storing away your belongings. This room has an en suite half bathroom with toilet, sink and vanity mirror. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a queen bed and cozy chair, plus a night table, dresser and closet for storage. (The other room is used for storage and is unavailable). The full bathroom provides a combo tub and shower, toilet and sink with storage cabinets beneath.
Bensonhurst is located in southwestern Brooklyn, NYC. It is known as the Little Italy of Brooklyn and also has a Chinatown section. You’ll find delis, groceries and shops along 13th Avenue including Krispy Pizza (just an avenue away), for old-school Brooklyn pizza and Tasty Pastry Shoppe (.8mi/1.28km away) to take home some Italian sweet treats. La Bella Marketplace has your grocery staples along with imported Italian specialty foods. If you crave the outdoors this section of Brooklyn places you close to the water near Gravesend Bay where you can take a jog with a view of the glittering Verrazano Bridge in the evening, use the sports fields at Dyker Beach Park by day or practice your golf swing at Dyker Beach Golf Course.
