The apartment is on the third floor (European second floor) of a 16 story building built in 1926. The building consists of an elevator, and is fully serviced. When you reach the third floor and enter the apartment, you are greeted with a beautifully and contemporarily decorated space. The main living space is equipped with a sofa, a dining table, air conditioning, a TV with cable, and a fully furnished full (double) size bed. To the right of the bed there two big windows, bringing in fresh natural light. The bathroom, which is right by the end of the bed, comes ready for use with a shower- tub, towels, and a water closet. Finally, you make your way to the open kitchen, which includes a refrigerator and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, a dishwasher, and an oven!
The Upper East Side is one of the most iconic areas of New York. Spend your days window shopping, or have a bite at a French eatery or café. All this, and never travel farther than five blocks from the apartment. Central Park is a block away, and the Central Park Zoo is only four blocks away. Go for a morning walk, experience the wonder of nature, or—and this is a New York favorite— people watch! You can wind down at a museum—The Frick Collection and the Asia Society and Museum are both just four blocks away.
Three blocks from the apartment, the subway station at 68th Street and Lexington Avenue runs the 6 train.
