This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom furnished apartment sits on the third floor of an elevator building covered in industrial-sized windows. A broad sidewalk runs in front of the building, and trees canopy the way. This is near the corner of West 53rd Street and 10th Avenue in Midtown West, Manhattan, New York City.
Please note that the furnishings and decor (such as sofas, curtains, artwork, etc.) may vary from the photos displayed in the listing due to periodic updates and replacements.
The back wall of this apartment overlooks an interior courtyard. It is a nearly-total glass barrier broken only by the casings which hold it in place and the walls which separate the bedrooms from the main room. From this vantage—in any of these three rooms—you can soak up indirect sunlight. The two bedrooms are almost mirrors of one another. Both have a queen-size bed and a TV. The main room also has a TV, as well as a sofa from which to watch it. There is a dining table near the open kitchen in the corner. The open kitchen has an oven, a toaster, a microwave, and a coffeemaker, also a fridge and a freezer. Situated along two walls, the kitchen melts into the main room environment. There is a tub/shower unit in the bathroom should you need to melt the stress of the day away.
This furnished rental sits just off the Hudson River. Plenty of interesting things can be found in the area. You can enjoy the waterfront at Pier 96 at Hudson River Park before stepping over to Terminal 5 for a concert. You can pop into the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, a museum housed in a decommissioned aircraft carrier. These things are all found no more than 0.7 miles (around 1 km) from this furnished rental.
You can catch the A, C, and E trains at the 50th Street subway station on 8th Avenue, located 0.4 miles (around 650 meters) from this apartment. You can catch the 1, 2, A, B, C, and D trains at the two 59th Street stations at Columbus Circle, located 0.6 miles (around 1 km) from the apartment.

Review by: A Renter, Aug 18 2025 From: United States, Apartment Rental: 3 months |
I am writing as a co-guarantor for my student. Management of the property was very good. Very professional and organized, with good communication to all the parties. I appreciated the reminders and calculations for rent payment, which made it student intern friendly. My student felt that rent was on the high side, however, the unit was new and beautiful and allowed pro-rating by occupation days. As a parent, I would be interested in renting with New York Habitat next summer as well. Thank you for the guidance and answering our questions promptly and satisfactorily. |
