Located in New York City’s trendy East Village, this 1600 SQF (about 145 SQM) loft apartment is the perfect artist’s haven – drenched in light and full of open spaces. With modern décor and unique, flexible layout, this apartment compliments the fun vibe of the area. It is located on East 10th Street between Avenue C and Avenue D, just two streets from the East River. It is situated on the 3rd floor (considered 2nd in Europe) of a four-story walk-up building. For your convenience, a private washer and dryer are available in the home. An intercom security system assures privacy and simple guest entry.
The living room/dining area presents ample floor space and is furnished with modern living accessories. Large floor-to-ceiling windows cover most of one wall and allow natural lighting to illuminate the room. Separated by bare floor space is an open dining room area, featuring a large wooden table for at-home meals.
A sleeping alcove (Living Room 2 in features and floorplan) in the center of the room divides the main living area from the other living room area. Here you will find a raised sleeping nook with a double size futon mattress; a white curtain separates this room from the main living area, while to the back there are sliding doors to provide access to the second living space. There are no windows within this alcove.
Living Room 3 is a smaller common space with one small piano and a large area rug covering most of the hardwood floors. Exercise equipment is included here. The office, which also can be used as a bedroom, is off this room. It has large windows and a double size convertible sofa bed, as well as a desk.
The open kitchen presents black-and-white tiled flooring and has a gas stove, refrigerator and coffee maker available. A small private laundry room is located next to the open kitchen. The bathroom includes one shower/tub and fresh towels.
