This fully furnished alcove studio is located in Chelsea, a neighborhood in western Manhattan, New York. The apartment is on the 9th floor of a high-rise building with a full time doorman. Additionally, this building features the convenience of on-site laundry facilities and the luxury of a swimming pool access. There is also a gym available for an extra fee and a shared outdoor terrace for the building residents (closed in the winter).

Two windows illuminate the space, overlooking a calm courtyard. The alcove sleeping area is situated towards the interior of the apartment, separated from the living area (though the walls do not extend to the ceiling); it has a custom California closet and double size platform bed. Light is allowed in from the 2 windows in the living area by way of the shortened wall. A wall air conditioning unit cools this apartment and there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom as well. Internet access is available. An additional custom California closet is available for storage near the entrance.
The separate kitchen is well equipped with track lighting, dishwasher, microwave, gas range and oven, toaster oven, coffeemaker and blender. There is another window here providing natural light.
This apartment is located on 23rd Street, in the heart of Chelsea, New York. Whole Foods (an organic grocery store) is conveniently located about 3 blocks (700m) away, and heading down 9th Avenue, you will find restaurants, cafes and shopping, such as the popular Chelsea Market on 9th Avenue and 16th Street. Walk four avenue blocks east (1.2km) and you can relax in the calm of Madison Square Park, or you can hop on the High Line, a former railway transformed into a park overlooking the Hudson River (.3mi/550m west).
Public transportation is particularly convenient: the C/E subway station is just over 1 block away (about 400m), and the 1 line is only 2 avenue blocks (550m) from this furnished rental. Both of these trains connect with Penn Station, a transit hub connecting with Amtrak and the LIRR, giving you flexibility for traveling around NYC and the greater New York area!
Please note that there is a dog in this apartment, however it will not be present for rentals.
