Check out these rooms for rent, found in a shared four-bedroom apartment in a Bedford-Stuyvesant townhouse. The share rentals are in the top floor unit of a 4-story (equivalent to the European 3-story) walk up building that benefits from receiving light from all directions.
Every room in this apartment has at least one window, even the bathroom, a rarity in these turn of the century townhouses. The first available room, Bedroom 1, has two windows that look across the street over roof and treetops, while the other bedroom for rent, Bedroom 3, has three windows with a similar view over an intersection. The last available room is Bedroom 4, with one window and a closet. These bright rooms have a rich stone tiles flooring for easy clean-up, and are furnished with queen size or double size platform beds and dressers. High ceilings emphasize the space, and the simple minimalist style lets you decide what you want your room to be like. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with your roommates, but there is no access to the living room.
These rooms for rent are located on the corner of Reid and Putnam Avenues, part of the greater Bedford-Stuyvesant - Crown Heights area in Central Brooklyn. This area is lined with many historic townhouses and brownstones, and is situated two subway stations that run to Manhattan. There are many convenience shops in this area, in combination with acclaimed local eateries that make it easy to spend time in your own neighborhood. With a laundromat situated on the ground level of the apartment building and a Kew Food grocery store just across the street, chores will be a snap! For dinner, try some fried chicken from Peaches Market, which is also well-known for their brunch (7 blocks).
The J train departs from the nearest subway stop, which is 6 blocks away, and will take you to downtown Manhattan in 6 stops. A little further is the A/C subway stop, which has both local and express trains that also go to Manhattan, or to downtown Brooklyn, depending on your needs for getting around New York City.

It was very clean, there was minimal furniture, which I didn't mind. There was no air conditioning. The building itself was well maintained. |
