This apartment share is spacious, bedrooms are a little bigger than they look like on the pictures. However, they are badly soundproofed because when someone makes too much noise, you can hear it in the whole apartment. I was lucky to find nice roommates who took me around the city, so I spent some very pleasant evenings. However, I had to rewash many things in the kitchen which was a bit dirty when I arrived because of the negligence of prior renters. The apartment is well located, next to many subway stations, about 20-25 minutes from Fifth Avenue and Central Park, and in a pretty quiet street. The only issue is that LaGuardia airport is located nearby, so you can hear many planes taking off from time to time. The landlady was very receptive and answered quickly when needed, which was very appreciable. |

It was a sincere pleasure having you Marine as a tenant. I am very pleased you enjoyed your stay and I wish I would have known about the kitchen as I would have made sure to clean or replace things. |

Guys DO NOT go here, believe me, i waste two months of my life in this room . The room is small, so hot and very dirty, in the bathroom there's a huge hole filled with towels, the A/C is not A/C it's just a fan in the wall!! the curtain shower is older than my grand grandfather! BE CAREFULL with the landlord she is so unreliable, she never answer to text or calls seems like she doesn't even thinks about give the security deposit back, guys trust me you can find something really better. DO NOT GO HERE!! Sent from my iPhone |

Ivan, frankly I must say I am very surprised by your review. I'm not sure how you can say that the room was dirty when the first thing you commented on upon your arrival was how nice and how clean the room was. The apartment itself was also clean. If you had a concern with the air conditioner then I am surprised you didn't comment on it with the many calls you made to me. As for your security deposit it was returned to you, however I apologize that it might not have been returned as quickly as you would have liked. I have been renting for many years and I have never had a complaint or a problem. As a matter of fact most tenants that begin short term have ended up extending and have been with me for years. |

I spent three very nice months in this apartment. The owner, Maricel, is a very kind lady. The roommate who shared the apartment with me was also very nice to live with and very friendly. Everything in the room was new and the price was very reasonable for a New York apartment. The only snag was the subway station that was a little far to walk to and in the blizzard and the snow, it wasn't always very pleasant. |
