This fully furnished two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is in the Midtown West area of Manhattan, New York. It stands near 9th Avenue and West 40th Street and is a 604-square-foot (around 56 m2) space on the second floor (equivalent to the first floor in Europe) of a townhouse.
This furnished rental features an open kitchen design integrated into the living room. The apartment has hardwood floors throughout (except the bathroom and kitchen), and white walls. The living room includes a sofa, TV, and glass-windowed cabinets. The kitchen includes a refrigerator with a freezer, an oven, microwave, and cabinet space. The first bedroom has a double-sized bed with a cabinet, and air conditioning. The second bedroom mirrors the first one, with a double sized bed, a small cabinet, and air conditioning, but it also adds a black and wood colored work desk and a closet. The bathroom in this apartment has white tiled walls and floors; there are three cabinets and two large windows over them with blinders and a mirror. It also has a washing machine and dryer, and the shower has a tub.
There is a lot to do near the apartment, like visiting the famous Times Square, which is only half a mile (around 800 meters) from the apartment. Known for giant LED screens that light up the streets, and for the shopping that many of these billboards advertise, Times Square is one of the biggest attractions in all of New York. Within six blocks of Times Square are multiple theaters (these are Broadway theaters), stores, and restaurants. Also, 0.9 miles (around 1.5 km) from the apartment is the Empire State Building, a skyscraper known around the world as a monument to Art Deco architecture. The skyscraper has observation decks with a view of the New York City skyline. Only 0.6 miles away (or around 1 km) is the Midtown / W. 39th St. Ferry terminal. This terminal can take you uptown or downtown by way of the Hudson River, and can even take you to see the Statue of Liberty.
The subway stations near 42nd Street and 8th Avenue (just three blocks from the apartment) give you access to the A, C, and E trains so you can explore more of New York City at your leisure.
