Overall, a horrendous experience. The worst part about this apartment was that I found dead bedbugs near the head of my bed. I told the owner about this. He called an exterminator who told him that dead bedbugs were "nothing to worry about, only live ones are cause for concern." This is absolutely incorrect, as I tried to explain to him, but he didn't listen. A 5 minute internet search will also explain that dead bedbugs are usually a sign of live ones. He claimed to have never had bedbugs before, meaning the dead ones I found could not have been killed by previous treatment. For some reason, before the exterminator came, the landlord "cleaned" the area where I had found 30-40 dead bed bugs. His "cleaning" consisted of dumping lysol on the ground and scrubbing frantically for 2 minutes. He didn't remove any of the dead bed bugs but instead scattered them around the room. I also don't understand why one would clean BEFORE the exterminator comes... you want the exterminator to be able to make an accurate assessment based on the evidence, not hide it from him. Also, the exterminator used a one time chemical treatment instead of heat or fumigation... a quick google search will show that this likely will not remove all bed bugs because chemical treatment does not kill eggs. The eggs will hatch and then you have bedbugs again. |

I DID NOT STAY IN THIS ROOM UNTIL AUGUST OF 2018. I got out many months ago. The owner was rude to me, made me listen to the television with Low volume, barked at me to not use the light at night, etc. The worst thing was that he NEVER had the exterminator come to the apartment. He had had a disagreement of some kind with the exterminator and so cockroaches were never controlled. The first year was not pleasant, but things really got bad in the months following the first year. The renter was rude and abrasive. His bathroom and kitchen were dirty. The building was OK but the apartment was not fit to rent. It was a bad experience. |

Marcello thank your for your rating and review. I am surprised and sorry to hear you had a bad experience in my apartment. I never meant to be rude. Watching TV late hours is ok if volume allows other people to sleep. I'm always very concern with cleanliness and do my best to keep the apartment clean and neat. I just couldn't clean your room, that was your own responsibility. I never had any infestation before. After you left I run full extermination, that was taken care of properly. |

The apartment I stayed in was very good. It was cleaned every week, I only had to take care of my own room. |
