New York Accommodation - 4 Bedroom Rental in Harlem (NY-11038)

This house is very pleasant. We were a group of nine people.
Located in a brownstone, it is very spacious and comfortable. The area is quiet. Our stay will provide us with an unforgettable memory.
Subway is very close and takes you quickly in the heart of Manhattan.
The building manager welcomed us, he is very nice and gave us sound advice.
Some supermarkets and a bar are also a walking distance...

Very spacious and well decorated apartment with a nice living area and a very pleasant terrace. The French-speaking landlady welcomed us very warmly and gave us some convenient details about the neighborhood and the city of New York. If something had to be improved, it would be the soundproofing in order to reduce street noises.

Very nice welcome. Gorgeous, high quality apartment, very clean and very well fitted out. Nothing is missing. Ideal to get a rest after long walks in New York. Subway close by as well as supermarkets open very late. Great stay.

The apartment is very spacious and gives you the feeling you are in a real house. The rooms are very pleasant (however one bedroom is much smaller) and so is the terrace.

The price is a bit high but you won't regret the investment. It is a good neighborhood to explore great jazz clubs (follow the hostess' instructions). The subway is 5 minutes away.

Nice accommodation, a 5-minute walk from a subway station and from a supermarket right in the heart of Harlem (you feel safer walking there at midnight than at 3pm in Marseille...)

Accommodation very spacious indeed but VERY badly soundproofed in the two bedrooms on the busy street side (fortunately, we were exhausted by the time we went to bed and we are good sleepers).

The bedroom on the same floor as the kitchen and the common room doesn't have a door but a curtain (have the earlier birds sleep there...)

Perfect but a bit expensive

the apartment is spacious, very comfortable and very well equipped. Friendly welcome. The owners speak very good French. The neighborhood is rather quiet and safe. Worth noting, the shops and a subway station nearby (500m), which allows you to access New York city center very quickly. Definitely to be recommended.

This vacation rental came as a great surprise. It was our first rental experience and this option is really nice for a family stay. The owner is very welcoming and his advice (restaurants, jazz,...) very useful. The terrace is a big plus as we could have breakfast and dinner outside.

The apartment is well equipped, spacious, very clean and in a very quiet and stylish part of Harlem, close to the subway, buses, Central Park.

In short, true to its description. Highly recommended, no fault. A safe choice.

Vacation rental located in Harlem near a subway station (a 5 min. walk). Neighborhood without any particular problem but not the most convenient to go out or to find a restaurant. owner is very nice and available.

I stayed in the apartment in West 130th Street, Harlem. The house was superb - beautifully furnished, with all the conveniences you could wish for. The landlady who lived downstairs, was very helpful but unobtrusive.

We were very happy in the apartment. It is really big and clean. All the rooms are comfortable.

The apartment is big enough for 7-8 people, because it has a lot of space at the rooms and in the living room.

The only thing that we don?t like is the person who gave us the key, because he arrived late at the apartment, and we waited about 40 minutes until he arrived. And after he wasn?t very friendly.

Our trip to New York two weeks ago was a real success and one important reason for this was the apartment we rented through NYH. We were two Swedish families traveling together, in all eight persons.
We decided for a flat because we wanted a place where we could gather both families during mornings and evenings, for planning and for sharing experiences.

The apartment worked very well for this purpose. There were lots of space and comfortable places to sit. Furthermore the apartment was well equipped and really stylish. We definitely appreciated the well-thought design. Our landlady was very friendly in an informal and relaxed way. She was helpful and gave us all information we needed.

Then the neighborhood. To many people (at least foreign) Harlem would not seem to be the idealistic part of the town to stay. However, we bought food for breakfast in local stores and we went out several evenings to buy take-away for evening meals.

And we used the subway and buses all times of the day. The food was cheap and tasted fine. We met nice and helpful people everywhere; the teenage boys in the street-corner as well. So the local environment definitely added to our positive experience.

And finally I also would like to say that I think we got very good assistance from your contact-agent. He gave us good advice and helped us through the decision process.

So, as you realize, we are really pleased and have already recommended both the apartment and New York Habitat to our friends.

The New York apartment we stayed in was excellent! Not only it was very clean and equipped with every comfort spanning from the laundry machine to the DVD player, Internet connection and air conditioning, but it's furnished and decorated with very good taste, and the cream of the crop is the comfortable cozy terrace where you can have breakfast or dine or simply relax in the tranquillity of a green backyard!

Last but not the least it's in a quiet area and absolutely close to a big supermarket, convenience shops and subway! I would absolutely recommend it to your customers!
