Great apartment in keeping with the pictures. Very good bedding, all the necessary comforts in the apartment. Ideal location for sightseeing in New York, very pleasant area next to Madison Square Park. Landlady is welcoming and very nice. Little extra: Edith, the nice cat, who was very affectionate after observing me for a while. Actually, I felt like home.

Apartment was really great, extremely well-located, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Bedroom is very well insulated from noise and light, a luxury in NYC!
The landlady is adorable, very easily reachable (by email or on the phone) and very receptive.

The only things missing were a television (not terribly important) and an iron.

This was a bright and spacious apartment - very comfortable for 2 people. The washer and dryer were very handy for travellers. The new cat Edith was a charming addition to come home to each evening. The apartment's location was ideal though there was street noise despite the double glazing; however it is New York and one gets used to it very quickly. It is located in a lovely heritage building and the neighbourhood is very safe and the people very friendly and helpful especially the owner of the apartment.

The apartment is gorgeous, everything is there, it is really well located and very comfortable! The owner is so well organized and anticipates pretty much everything you need. Gogo the cat living there is the most adorable and sweet creature and when he welcomes you home at the end of your day, well - how much more at home can you feel ? :-)

This was a beautifully appointed apartment in an excellent location and very close to the metro, good restaurants and the districts in NYC that we were particularly interested in visiting.

The cat was an added bonus. I would have to say that staying in this particular space was a highlight of our trip ... we felt like real New Yorkers and not tourists from Australia!

Owner is very nice and easy going. Apartment is very well equipped and very well situated (between 24 and 25 St.) There nothing to criticize... Even the cat is cool.

The owner was very, very friendly and helpful (there was a written 'instruction manual' for the equipment and the cat as well as recommendations for where to eat or what's the best grocery store nearby).

Beautiful apartment, spacious, extremely well-equipped and very comfortable. Even though it is right on Park Ave. South, it's really quiet.

It's in a great, central area -- Gramercy -- only one block from the Flatiron building and Eataly (a good place to eat) and two blocks from the Lyric Diner and a mass of Indian restaurants.

It's walking distance from Union Square and Soho, and there are excellent subway and bus connections to everywhere else.

All the furnishings and equipment are top of the range luxurious. And it was wonderful to have a cat to come home to each day -- he's a sweetheart. If/when I come back to NY, this apartment will be my first choice.

Our stay in NYC was wonderful and one big aspect was our very nice accomodation! Thanks again to R. and Gogo for letting us stay at their flat. The flat really is as nice as you see it on the pictures! Will certainly try to stay here again, the next time I'm in NYC.

My husband and I stayed in this fantastic apartment for a week in December. When we go to New York City again, we will definitely stay here.

The owner was gracious, courteous and helpful. She left us terrific instructions for the apartment and many helpful tips for the neighborhood, including grocery stores, late night restaurants, etc.

The apartment itself, has everything you would need and want and is very comfortable. It has been beautifully updated and is fully functional. You really get the feeling of what it is like to live in the city! The location is prime. There are metro stations within two blocks, either direction, and it is a block away from Madison Square Park and just a handful of blocks away from Union Square.

There are grocery stores and restaurants of all types within a very short walk.

Working with New York Habitat was simple. It was the first time I have used such a service and I actually sorted through all the mid-town apartments on my own and selected the one I was most interested in, based on the photos and the description.

When I contacted NYH, they were prompt in communicating with both me and the owner and putting the agreement together. After securing the apartment through them (with the application and deposit) and receiving my confirmation information, I worked directly with the apartment owner which made things very simple.

I would absolutely recommend this service and this apartment to my friends who travel to NYC.

The Midtown East vacation rental apartment we rented was beautiful and turned out to be perfectly located. The apartment owner had clearly spent a lot of time ensuring that we knew how to operate things in the apartment (with a customized info.-file), so this made all our lives easier.

It was especially pleasing that the photos featured by New York Habitat for this apartment were a faithful representation of what greeted us on arrival - so no disappointments. On the contrary, this apartment was fitted out to a very high standard, and the owner was very open and friendly about allowing us access to WIFI and other stereo equipment.

With half the Apple store with us in any case, we certainly appreciated this - better facilities than a hotel room!

We actually even stayed home twice (evenings), as it was so relaxing after quite a bit of travelling beforehand, and we really loved the ambiance of what was a historic building.

We hope to return to New York next Spring and we will certainly contact New York Habitat and make arrangements that coincide with our particular 'find'.

The apartment is in a great location in Manhattan. The host was very attentive to the needs of the renter, ie: items labeled, an info sheet with telephone numbers and locations of medical, food stores, emergency numbers and area attractions. Beautiful apartment with many amenities.
