A typical Brooklyn stone stoop leads up to this 2-bedroom apartment for rent, located on the first floor (considered ground floor by Europeans) of a 3-story townhouse in the Bushwick neighborhood. The apartment features hardwood floors in the bedrooms and each of its two living rooms, which adjoin but can also be used privately. The kitchen is tiled, and has a backdoor with wooden stairs leading down to a private garden, perfect for sunbathing in the summer. This rental is perfect for travelers on a budget.
The first living room has modern furniture with two comfortable sofas and a matching rug, as well as a television for entertainment, and the second is used as sleeping alcove, with single bunked beds. The bedrooms are conveniently situated on opposite ends of the apartment: the first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and three charming bay windows looking out onto a typical tree-lined Brooklyn street. The second bedroom also contains a queen-sized bed and has two windows with a nice view of the garden.
The townhouse is situated on Cornelia Street between Irving Avenue and Knickerbocker Avenue. The nearest subway station is six blocks away at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues where you can catch the M or L trains, which both will help you with a commute to Manhattan, going through the trendy Williamsburg area as well. One of Bushwick’s main parks can be found at just four blocks from the apartment: Irving Square Park features some beautiful pear trees, a playground, a central lawn and historic gates. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and grocery stores in this part of New York City, mainly on Knickerbocker Avenue and Myrtle Avenue. Nine & One Grocery is only one block from the apartment, as are the restaurants Happy Steak and Good Chinese. Famous actor Eddie Murphy grew up in Bushwick.

Accommodation is located in a residential area, the building is made of wood, the downstairs neighbors complained a lot during our stay, despite our avoiding making noise as much as possible, that caused much unease. |

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Living in the apartment gave us the feeling that we were part of the neighborhood. It gave us room and the rest to enjoy a real holiday. The apartment offered everything that we needed and all the comfort we longed for. |

The owners were very friendly; the apartment was nice, renovated and functional, and overall clean. The downside: the bathroom and kitchen weren't very clean (a few cockroaches). But we still had a nice stay. |

Very happy to having you as guests in the apartment, gives sadness knowing that the apartment was not cleaner and you found cockroaches, but it is a problem that I'm already dealing with the exterminator, as the apartment had a treatment. |
