Very well equipped and maintained apartment.
Perri is very kind, all she wants is meet our requirements and offer advice and her help while remaining very discreet.
The nearby subway line 3 is awesome.
Small stores close by... we're not far off the perfect location

Quaint apartment with 3 bedrooms, which is not common. It is located in a quiet street covered with flowers.
Great welcome from the owners who live on the premises.
A/C was a real plus because it was very hot in New York.
Ideal location to explore Brooklyn and with quick access Manhattan.

Suggestions for improvement:
A little more communication before arrival.
Add a washing machine?!
Update the A/C for the noise

Location away from the most well-known neighborhoods in Brooklyn but the proximity of the subway stations makes up for it.
Typical accommodation, clean, well equipped, located in a street that was named the greenest street in Brooklyn thanks to the residents' commitment.
Stores and restaurants nearby open late at night.

Apartment is located very close to Nostrand Avenue subway station (line 3) and President Street (line 2).
It takes about 25-30 minutes to reach Downtown Manhattan.

Apartment is in keeping with its description. You will be amazed by the beautiful flowers and plants in front of the house.

Apartment is spacious enough for 5. Bedding is quite comfortable. On the whole, the apartment was rather clean. It is quiet and very well-located with all the necessary convenient stores. The landlady is lovely and very welcoming.

We felt the accommodation was very nice and cozy. We were out in Manhattan a lot to visit things so it was very relaxing to come back to. The hosts are extremely kind and friendly and had even bought a couple of things like fruit, breakfast etc for our arrival.

Access to the subway is very good, about a 3-minute walk. The only thing that we felt was a small downside: the middle room which is the main common room (e.g. for meals) has no window (except for a stained glass skylight) and therefore little light.

For a limited period of time though you can easily adapt to it.

The apartment was a little further than we'd imagined but matched the description. It was a bit oldish and there was no air conditioning. There wasn't much privacy between bedrooms (separated by glass doors)

Still I have a quite favorable opinion. We received a nice welcome and the apartment was very functional.

The ad said there was A/C but there wasn't. We were in New York when it was extremely hot. The day before we left we told the owner about it and he said the A/C cost $10 a night. That wasn't specified in the ad. The unit was in a closet and we hadn't seen it.

When we arrived, the dusting wasn't done, the table cloths were stained.

In the kitchen, there was a drawer that was full of junk (things that had nothing to do in the kitchen). In the closet where we were supposed to find toiletries, we could find all sorts of things (household products etc).

It wasn't tidy at all.

Another thing was that the apartment couldn't be locked. You could only lock it from the inside. But when we went out the apartment was open.

Despite that our stay went very smoothly. The hosts are very kind, very helpful to give tourist tips or have a chat outside. We're still very happy with our stay.

If the place was a bit improved, I would even recommend this vacation rental to my friends.

A well equipped and clean apartment. Good location near a subway station, quite a long ride into Manhattan(40mins), great place to stay if you want to be out of the bustle of Manhattan.

We had problems with the Wi-Fi, not sorted before we left but hopefully will be! Charming and helpful hosts. Comfortable beds, suitable for a family as all the rooms are connected.

The bedding was great. The hostess was very welcoming. A few kitchen utensils were lacking for us, such as a coffee pot, and she gave them to us. The cable didn't work very well. We only had 3 basic channels.

The apartment is very quiet, fine for 4 or 5 people. It is a period house, so it's not for someone looking for something luxurious.

It is very close to Manhattan (a quick journey), very close to the subway and there are local stores close by. The hostess and her daughter are very hospitable. I'd quite positively recommend this vacation rental.

The accommodation is clean and cozy. The hosts were helpful. Compared with other neighborhoods, there aren't any shops in this one and the streets need cleaning.

The metro station is just next door and you can go to Manhattan without having to change trains.

The apartment was cosy and the tenants were helpful and friendly. Very nice people. The price was reasonable. The subway station was very close. Convenient.

We rented this apartment for our family of 4 for 4 nights during Thanksgiving. Perri and Simone's welcome was perfect, they are very flexible and discreet (they live downstairs). The vacation rental is located in a beautiful brownstone, typical of Brooklyn. Spacious, with a lot of charm, wooden floor, victorian windows and matching furniture.

The apartment is comfortable but could do with two more chairs for the dining table. The kitchen equipment is a bit basic: it's true that few tourists cook but we do. The building and the neighborhood are quiet, which is nice. No problem for parking the car. There are a few restaurants 3 blocks away.

The subway is 100 m away and it takes 35 minutes to reach Midtown Manhattan. It's a very good compromise between cost and value.

We are very happy with our stay in Perri and Simone's accommodation. Everything was as described and shown on the photos. Welcome and cleanliness are top notch. The apartment is very spacious and well heated.

Highly recommended.
