This fully furnished 1-bedroom 1-bathroom duplex apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 16th century building in the Saint-Germain des Pres district in Paris, France.

This 16th century walk-up building features a security system, concierge, and a garden. This approx. 40m² apartment features courtyard/garden views and semi-exposed wood ceiling beams.

The entry door opens on the dining room and the separate kitchen. A staircase leads to the first floor, which is where the living room, bedroom, and bathroom are located.

The approx. 12m² dining room has two large bay windows facing the courtyard. It is furnished with a collapsible table, chairs, shelf, “sleigh” sofa, stereo, and phone. The living room has wall-to-wall dark blue carpeting.

The separate kitchen has a small window. It is equipped with an electric oven, a cooker hood, three-burner gas stove, a small fridge, a coffee maker, and a toaster. Pots, pans, utensils, and dining ware are provided.

The approx. 12m² living room has two large bay windows. It is furnished with a sofa, coffee table, two armchairs, cable TV, and built-in wall closets. You have access to major international channels such as CNN, BBC World Service, Euronews, and Eurosport.

The approx. 10m² bedroom has a window, 140cm wide double-size bed, and side table with lamp. Sheets are provided.

The bathroom has a washbasin, mirror, bathtub with handheld showerhead, and toilet. Towels are provided.

This fully furnished apartment is on Rue Visconti between Rue Bonaparte and Rue de Seine in the 6th St. Germain - Luxembourg - St. Michel. Rue Visconti is one of the oldest streets in Paris. It is where many historical events took place, where Racine and Balzac used to frequent. It is just a few steps away from Odeon and St Germain des Prés. The Buci open-air market is open daily. There are also many shops, fine grocers, restaurants, and cafes.

The nearest metro stations are St. Germain des Pres or Odeon (line 4).

I loved this apartment; it was a great stay. Maybe it was a little bit complicated because of the age of the building. I enjoyed my stay here!

Akarasun was a very nice tenant and we will miss him. However, I understand his concern about this ageing building which is one of the oldest and most historical of Paris, in the street where Balzac published his novels. I am sorry that Akarasun arrived when the works started in the common areas and that he had to be a bit patient. This is why I decided to offer him a rental discount when he extended his lease agreement. I highly recommend Akarasun as a tenant.
