This studio apartment near the Boulevard Voltaire is only a few stations from the Marais and Bastille areas. In the immediate vicinity are numerous shops, restaurants and cafes, supermarkets, and markets such as the well-known Parisian market Rue Richard Lenoir (Thursday and Sunday mornings). It is also close to the Place de la Republique, which has at its center the 10m-high Republic statue resting on a bronze base. Very close by is the famous Place de la Bastille, where the new Opera, considered one of the best in the world, was inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution.
This 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the fourth floor (fifth in the USA) of an 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system. It opens into a courtyard that leads to the building's staircase.
This studio apartment is divided into two parts: a living room and a small bedroom area. It has three windows overlooking the courtyard with a western exposure. There is a wireless Internet connection.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) living room area is furnished with a sofa, a coffee table, two chairs, a small dining table and a stereo.
The 7m² (approx. 75 sq. ft.) bedroom area is furnished with a double-size mezzanine bed, a desk, a walk-in closet, cable TV and a DVD player.
The open kitchen has a window and is equipped with two electric burners, a combo refrigerator/freezer, a combo microwave/grill oven, a kettle and a toaster.
The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
The nearest metro stations are Republique (lines 3-5-8-9-11) and Oberkampf (lines 5 and 9).
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.

Apartment Rental: 3 months
We had a really good stay in this appartment. The communication with the owner wad friendly and easy. The location is the biggest advantage of the appartment (Franxprix, washing saloon, metro, restaurants..). The mezzanine creates more space there. The equipment was sufficiant for 3 months.
