Cons : The house is small for two people - it was difficult to avoid
kicking sleeping roommate when I go to bathroom at night. And it is dark
with all the lights turned on.

Pros : The landlord is kind and nice. The location is the best.

Dear Bumsik,

Thank you for your very useful comments which enable us to improve the comfort of our apartment for next tenants.

The apartment has a surface area of 33 square meters; it includes a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom.

The living room's sofa (next to the bedroom) is only an extra sofabed for occasional guests (as indicated in the description).
I agree with you that using the living room as a bedroom is unpleasant. So, following your comment, from now on, we will only accept bookings from a single person or a couple in order to avoid this issue.

Regarding the lack of light in the apartment at night or when it is dark outside because of bad weather, nobody ever mentioned this earlier. Actually, every room has a big window and when blinds are opened in the day, the apartment benefits from natural sunlight and no artificial light is needed. Of course, we are going to do what is necessary by adding some lamps.

I am sorry for this inconvenience.
I hope you had a nice stay in Paris and that it was useful for the continuation of your education.
Best regards

The apartment is in a great location with restaurants, food markets, and two train stations (RER B, Metro) within a ten minutes walk of the apartment. Also, Jardin de Luxembourg is within fifteen minute of the apartment. All the other famous sites are just a short train ride away (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, louvre museum). One small drawback, if you could call it that, is that there are two hospitals and a fire station located on the main street, so some times it could be very noisy. During our stay there was major construction going on around our build, which made it very unpleasant to be in. The construction would start at 8am and go until 4pm. During parts of the day the construction got so bad that the whole apartment would shack, like we were going through an earthquake. Nothing was mention in the lease that there was going to be construction, and the sing that we saw in the building said it was going to last until March 2012. However, the land lord was nice enough to come up with a new agreement to our stay which made us feel a little better. I meet that land lord several times, and he is a very nice man.

There were indeed construction works in the area that we were not aware of and we do apologize for the inconvenience. The owner confirmed today that the works are now completed.
