I'm so sorry you were not satisfied with your stay, Samsoor. We take comments like this very seriously and sent an agent to discuss this with the owner. According to the owner, the building has an exterminator come once a month and if there are any complaints, they should be directed to the owner and they will be handled. Thank you for your feedback.

Apartment Rental: 3 months

The best part about this place is the location. Living in the East Village is great if you're young and single. It's easy enough to get to other parts of the city from here.

The worst part is that the owner is impossible to get a hold of. He doesn't have email and never picks up either of his two phones. His representative can barely speak English. Other than that, he seems to be a nice guy.

No AC when I moved in even though it was advertised online; however, it was installed promptly. Also, the place was very dirty when I moved in and I found out I was living with a mouse/rat near the end of my stay. I left the owner a message but he never got back to me.

The place was tiny as Hell, but it's not like I wasn't expecting that in this part of the city.

When I did get a hold of the owner (only ever by running into him), he was very nice and appeared to be responsive.

Thanks for the feedback, Ryan! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this location. We have shared your feedback with the owner. This owner can sometimes be difficult to get a hold of, which is why we include in the contract that you should call him repeatedly if you need anything. Additionally, one of our agents recently went to meet with this owner, to make sure that any extermination problems are handled. According to the owner, the building has an exterminator come once a month and if there are any issues during the stay, they should be directed towards the owner and they will be handled.
This apartment is located in a good neighborhood in Manhattan. The rent is affordable considering the size and location.
Thank you for your feedback!
