Dear Candace,
Thank you so much for your review.
We will send someone to check the radiator and make sure everything is fine for next tenant. You should have contacted us during your stay, we would have been more than happy to fix it before.
Again, we truly value your feedback and hope to hear from you again in the future!
Best,
Darin.

It is a nice and comfortable place to stay. The best of it is how quiet it is and how convenient the location is. The light in the apartment isn't great, and there is no elevator. But besides that everything is good!

Marcela, thank you for taking the time to rate and write this nice review. The bedroom is very bright and although the light is not the best in the rest of the apartment during the sunny days it's actually good. Sorry for the lack of elevator, as stated in the description this is walk-up building. Thank you again!

Strong points:
- the building manager was available, helpful and attentive
- the apartment was bright (it is located on the 5th floor)
- overall, the building was clean (no cockroaches nor bedbugs)
- the apartment is well-equipped (whenever there is a problem, household appliances are replaced)
- comfortable bed
- no particular issue in the neighborhood

Weak points:
- Wi-Fi!!!!
- blinds do not hide natural light (at all)
- toilet flush is to weak (toilets are often clogged)
- hot water is hard to get during winter
- not enough storage space (we were 2 girls so we had to buy some extra furniture)

Dear Joséphine,

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We take pride in providing a clean and comfortable residence and are continually making improvements based on honest opinions from previous tenants.

Regarding all your weak points:
-Although WiFi is complementary, we are in the process of upgrading our wireless routers to improve the wireless signals in the building.
-Most tenants prefer blinds that allow some light into the apartment, as NYC can be shady as the tall buildings tend to block a lot of natural light.
-The building is pre-WWI and the plumbing will not be as robust as the plumbing would be in a modern building.
-Depending on the floor of the apartment it may take time for the hot water to travel from the boiler to the apartment. The season of the year shouldn't matter regarding hot water.
-As with most apartments in New York City, storage space can be somewhat limited. But every apartment has at least one closet and a dresser.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to post your kind review.

Scott and Darin.

Great location. Two major downsides: since the apartment is on the 5th floor, it takes a long time to get hot water. Another point that's not cool is the noise. A part from these two things, I must say that Wilson, the building manager, and his team do a remarkable job, they very welcoming and always ready to be of help. Very nice.

Hi Christophe,

Thanks for the kind words about Wilson and the team, they really work hard at making your rental experience the best possible. I'm not sure which tenant was making the noise you mentioned, next time let Wilson know and he can talk to them about being considerate to their neighbors. Hot water does come up from the basement boiler, so it can take a minute or two to get to the top floor. It's recommended you turn the water on a couple minutes before you're ready to jump in the shower. It was a pleasure having you stay with us again, we look forward to your next visit to NYC.

Best regards,
Darin
