Located between Avenue Ledru Rollin and Boulevard Diderot, this totally refurbished 65m² two-bedroom apartment is in a short walking distance of the well-known Place de la Bastille where the Opera de Paris is located considered one of the best in the world, inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. Within a short walking distance is the royal Place des Vosges, the oldest and most beautiful square having been the place of residence of many historic personalities. Built by Henri IV, its perfect symmetry and verticality are fine examples of classical French architecture. This area is also known for re-known museums, arts galleries and antique shops. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood. The apartment is situated on the first floor of a 19th century elevator building with concierge. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system and an intercom. The apartment faces the courtyard (northern exposure), it has white-painted walls, double-glazing and wooden floor everywhere except for the kitchen, the bathroom and the separate toilet, which are tiled. The entry door opens onto the living room and the open kitchen. In front of the entry door is a corridor leading to the bedrooms on the left-hand side, the bathroom on the right-hand side and the separate toilet in the end. The 25m² living room has a window. It is decorated with a 160cm-wide sofa bed, a coffee table, armchairs, a desk, a sideboard, a cable TV with a VCR (combo) and a phone. There is a high speed Internet connection available. The open kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a freezer, four electric hotplates, a microwave, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a stainless-steel sink, a coffee maker, a kettle and all the necessary utensils. The 9m² first bedroom has a window. It is furnished with a 160cm-wide bed that can be split into single beds, a large built-in wall closet and a phone jack. The 9m² second bedroom has a window. It is furnished with two 80cm-wide single beds, a large built-in wall closet and a phone jack. The bathroom has a washbasin surmounted by a mirror, a bathtub with a wall-mounted showerhead and a washing machine. Heating and water heater are individual with gas. The nearest metro station are Gare de Lyon Line 1 and RER A.
