Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment is situated on Rue du Pont aux Choux, between Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire and Rue de Turenne, in the Marais. This area is among the oldest and most distinct districts of Paris and includes renowned museums such as the Picasso Museum and the Carnavalet (museum of the city of Paris). Four blocks away is Place Des Vosges, Paris' oldest and arguably most beautiful square, built by Henri IV; its perfect symmetry and verticality are fine examples of classical French architecture. Restaurants, small boutiques, and cafes abound in this highly fashionable yet subtle area. Moreover, within walking distance are the bustling nightlife of the Republique and the Bastille. All sorts of services can be found near this accommodation.

For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Saint Sebastien Froissart (line 8).
My son and three other classmates stayed in what they said was "the nicest and largest apartment any of them ever stayed in". The neighborhood was very conveniently located. My son occasionally walked to the American University of Paris (where his classes were) but more regularly took the Metro, from a stop which was a very short walk from the apartment.
Dec 28 2010The apartment owner was very easy to work with and, even though my son
couldn't figure out how to turn on the oven, left very detailed instructions about the apartment and the neighborhood.
Based on everything my son told us, and my direct dealings with the owner,
this apartment was an A+.
Apartment Owner
Matt and friends were respectful renters. The apartment remained in excellent condition through the months they stayed. I would rent to them again in a heartbeat.
Dec 28 2010What a great apartment [in Paris]. The location was wonderful. It was great being so close to the Marais area, Bastille and Place Des Vosges. It was also an easy walk to the Louvre and that area. It was nice being away from the very

The apartment size was great, huge by Parisian standards, I think. Just the storage closet alone was wonderful. The kitchen was adequate. Able to cook many meals there or go out and enjoy the wonderful cafes in the Marais. Being in the Marais is wonderful, so many cute shops and cafes. Such a walkable area too.
The owner was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive to all our issues and questions. What a great place for her to have access to.
I would rent it again with another couple if I ever get back to Paris. I would highly recommend it also to anyone.
Great [Paris] apartment and the owner and her representative were very helpful. We had a great experience in the flat. It was clean, spacious and very homey.
