Beautifully located, in the heart of Montparnasse and right off the 6th arrondissement, this 40m2 one bedroom apartment is situated between Boulevard Edgar Quinet & Boulevard du Montparnasse. Filled with memories of the famous artists and writers such as Picasso, Hemingway, Matisse, Modigliani and others who lived in Montparnasse and frequented the local bars and cabarets in the 1920s and 1930s, the neighborhood is vibrant with theaters, cinemas, restaurants and well-known cafes. You will also find an open-air market as well as one of the best Paris food supermarkets just around the corner. The Luxembourg Garden is only a seven-minute walk away. This apartment is located on the first floor (2n american floor) of an 18th century walk-up building having a security system at the entry door. The walls are painted, there are red brick tiles almost everywhere, beams, double glazing on the windows and it faces the street side with an east exposure. The 20m2 living room has a large window, and is decorated with a double sofa bed (130 wide), a decorative fireplace, a bookcase, a table and chairs, a stereo and other items. The 15m2 bedroom is separated by a sliding door from the living room and has another large window. It is furnished with a double bed (140 wide), bedside table with a telephone, a chair, a closet and a TV. The eat-in open and separate kitchen has a skylight, a dining table and its chairs and is tiled and equipped with a microwave, an electric oven, two vitro ceramic burners, a sink, a small fridge, a coffee maker and a washing machine. The bathroom is tiled and fitted with a full size bathtub with a wall-mounted showerhead, washbasin and toilet. DSL High speed internet access included. The nearest metro station are Montparnasse (lines 4,6, 12,13) & Edgar Quinet (Line 6), buses and RER.
