Neighborhood:
Live and historical area the Marais has a particular atmosphere due to its pre-Revolution architecture. It encloses a substantial number of points of interest such as the royal Place de Vosges famous and hailed for the harmony of its architecture, where at number 6 lived the world famous French novelist Victor Hugo. Close to the Beaubourg area and Pompidou Center, an avant-garde structure and one of Paris’s most visible buildings. There are museums, art galleries, design shops, as well as diverse types of trendy bars and restaurants and other types of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 64m² one bedroom apartment is located on the 4th floor (5th for USA) of a building dating back to the end of the 19th century. The main entrance gate is protected by a code system and an intercom. Smokers are not allowed in this apartment.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto a hall, which leads by the left to the kitchen, straight ahead to the bedroom and the bathroom and by the left to the living room and the dining room. The separate toilet is accessible by this hall as well.
The living room has one window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, two antique style armchairs, a coffee table and a console with upon it a stereo, a cable TV and its DVD player.
The bedroom has a window opening on the courtyard. It is furnished with a queen size bed, two night tables with reading lights and an armoire.
The dining room has a window opening on the street. It is furnished with a glass dining table with its chairs and a desk.
The kitchen has a window facing the courtyard and is equipped with four gas burners, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a traditional oven and an automatic coffee maker.
The bathroom is totally tiled. It has a bathtub and a washbasin. There is also a laundry machine (combo washer / dryer).
The separate toilet is tiled in white.
The nearest metro station is Rambuteau (line 11).
Heat and hot water use gas and are individually metered.

Over all the apartment is tastefully furnished, clean and comfortable . We are very pleased with our stay and will highly recommend it . We did not get to meet the landlord but the owner's representative was there to received us upon our arrival . |

I'm quite happy with the [Paris] apartment overall. Apart from the lack of boiling kettle and a microwave oven, I find that the apartment is very well equipped with Internet wifi and cable. |
