In the vicinity of this street are the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, the wide Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian rue des Gravilliers. It is also a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, restaurants and cafes. A little further is the royal Place des Vosges, the homes of many historic personalities, and a number of unique museums. Most of the important points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, City Hall, and the Seine River are in fair walking distance.

I had the apartment for 6 weeks and everything worked flawlessly. Due to the low ceiling height, the sleeping arrangement in the mezzanine level below the roof takes some getting used to. |

Thank you for your very nice comments Marc and for staying at my apartment. Even if it takes time to get used to the mezzanine, it is also what makes this Parisian attic and quiet apartment so charming. I hope you will choose my apartment if you come back to Paris. Best regards, Danielle |

The apartment is beautiful, quirky, and couldn't be better located. It is actually quite a good price for the location too (not counting the rental agency fees). The building is quiet, but once you leave home you are only 5 minutes by foot to the heart of the Marais. |
