These fully furnished and recently renovated one bedroom apartment is right in the heart of the Right Bank of the Seine river, at the corner of Rue des Petites Ecuries & Rue du Faubourg Saint Denis. In the beautiful and popular 10th arrondissement of Paris, this one bedroom's amenities and convenience make it a great pick. This apartment is on the first floor of five (second American floor) of a prewar walk-up building right in the middle of one of the most exciting and bustling districts of the city. Fortunately, the windows here face into the courtyard, so you get the convenience of the location without the noise pollution of a city.
Because of the recent renovation (2012), almost all of the appliances and other amenities are modern. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to make food at home, along with plenty of storage space. Available for your convenience are:
In one of the hippest neighborhoods in Paris, whatever you're into, you can find it nearby this apartment. Some of the best known clubs, the trendiest bars, the busiest cafés and the most popular restaurants in the city are right outside the door. Running errands is a breeze with a Franprix supermarket just minutes away, as well as a boulangerie-patisserie and several produce markets. The area surrounding the apartment is crossed by many metro lines, with the nearest stations being Chateau d'Eau (metro line 4), Gare de l'Est (metro lines 4, 5, 7, long distance trains), and Strasbourg Saint-Denis (metro lines 4, 8, 9). There are vélib' (bike share) and autolib' (car share) stations nearby, providing a great alternative to the metro.
Many of Paris's most famous sites are within walking distance or just a few stops away by metro. The Canal Saint Martin, less than a kilometer (half mile) away by foot, is one of the best places in Paris to sit and watch the world go by. It's a Parisian tradition to sit on the Canal and split a bottle of wine. Right next to the Strasbourg-Saint-Denis metro station is the Porte Saint-Denis, a triumphal arch built by Louis XIV to celebrate his victories in the Netherlands, a precursor to the Arc de Triomphe. If you keep heading south, you'll get to the Centre Pompidou, Paris's modern art museum, public reference library and the location of several art studios and innovation spaces. The neighborhood surrounding this museum is the Marais, famous for its chic bars and galleries and its beautifully preserved medieval cityscape. The city's other major tourist sites such as the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris and charming and historic Latin Quarter are all just a few stops away on the 4 line.
