This beautifully decorated studio on East 61st Street and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan is a fantastic choice for your stay in NYC. Your building is situated on a side street just off busy 2nd Avenue, close to all the action but secluded enough to provide some well-deserved peace and quiet whenever you want it. The low rise features a modern security system, and the luxury of an elevator and laundry facilities in the building. The apartment itself is on the 3rd floor.
The studio is fully furnished, with a queen sized bed, couch, and flat screen television. There is a rack for hanging clothes in addition to a closet near the entrance. If you enjoy cooking, there is a full kitchen, or you can order delivery from the many restaurants that call the Upper East Side home.
The Upper East Side is one of New York's most sought after residential neighborhoods, and it is easy to see why. The area is full of all the amenities. There are a variety of excellent grocery stores to choose from. Just a block away on 1st Avenue there is a Food Emporium Supermarket, which features a selection of grocery items and prepared food. If you'd rather have dinner out, there is a range of options available nearby, from New York institutions such as Le Cirque to Neely's Barbecue Parlor, which just opened to great fanfare and is a favorite among neighborhood residents. For perhaps the best hot chocolate in New York City, try Serendipity around the corner on 60th Street.
About 5 blocks away, Central Park offers a timeless oasis from the city that surrounds it. With jogging and biking trails and a variety of activities from swimming in the summer to ice skating in the winter, the park is perhaps the city's most iconic destination. Whether you want to catch up on your book or just enjoy a couple of minutes of people watching, the park is the perfect place to stop for a few minutes, or a few hours. If working out at the gym is more your style, Crunch and The Sports Club LA are both just a few blocks from your studio.
If it's time to get some work done or explore the city, you will be pleased with the transit options available. The N, Q, R, 4, 5, and 6 trains all stop at 59th Street and Lexington Avenue, an easy walk from your apartment. A few blocks further is the F train at 63rd Street and Lexington Avenue.
