This spacious fully furnished two-bedroom vacation rental with exclusive garden access is located in the Upper West Side section of Manhattan, New York, less than a block from the iconic Central Park. This townhouse accommodation has been declared a landmark building and has the lovely feature of a private backyard, enclosed with a fence with a picnic table for when the weather permits outdoor meals. In addition to an video intercom buzzer system, special features of this vacation rental include a washer and dryer, recessed lighting as well as hardwood floors.
The open kitchen area has a large refrigerator recessed within the wall cabinets allowing for a clean look and good use of space. Complimenting the white cabinetry are two bar stools, a stainless steel stove, microwave and dishwasher. Exposed brick adds a touch of warmth to this cooking and dining space. Adjacent to the kitchen is the open living room/dining room. The living area has a large and small sofa along with beautiful cream center rug. The dining area has an expandable table with six chairs. The bathroom is beautifully tiled and is equipped with a detachable hand-held shower-head and towels. Downstairs there are two extra living rooms for recreation purposes only, as well as a half bathroom.
The two bedrooms are situated on opposite ends of the townhouse for privacy. They each have a queen size bed, and bedroom 2 has a child sized bed.
This Upper West Side two bedroom is situated less than one block from the west side of the popular Central Park. Another NYC landmark, the Museum of Natural History, is just three blocks south. A stroll down Columbus Avenue displays a variety of food options including Japanese, Mexican, New American and even Vegan. However, less than one block away you can shop at Gristedes supermarket for you grocery needs.
Enjoy the nightlife less than a block away at Prohibition where you can enjoy terrific live music or for some laughs, check out the Stand-Up Comedy Club, about half a mile away. Located near 84th Street and Columbus Avenue, this townhouse is just over two blocks from the B and C train lines located at the 86 Street / Central Park West Street subway station.
