The nearby High Line, a 1.45-mile-long (2.3km) elevated train line redesigned as a park offers spectacular views of the city. Grab dinner at Peter McManus Café, one of the oldest operated bars in New York which you might recognize from one of the many films and television programs in which it appeared. In case of a late night craving, head over to Cafeteria, a modern diner serving American comfort food 24/7. Art lovers will love the many galleries in the neighborhood, as well as the Rubin Museum of Art and its collection of art and cultures of the Himalayas and India. Each one of these place is located within 0.3mi (480m) away from the apartment. The Joyce Theater, a dance performance venue is right by the door and is famous for its modern and avant-garde programming.
