Everything is very good. The only bad thing is that the apartment is on the 5th floor, but the good thing is that you have a daily exercise.

Hi Federico,

Pre-world war II New York City buildings have a lot of charm but no elevator. I lived on the top floor for several years and have to agree with you, it's great excercise. I'm happy that your rental experience was overall a very good one, we hope to see you again next time your in the city.

Best regards,
Darin

This apartment was great for my time in NYC. Everything involving booking the apartment and paying rent was excellent. The apartment was extremely clean when I arrived and you could not ask for a better location! The super and his wife were super helpful and always around if I had any questions. I would definitely recommend booking with New York Habitat if you are looking for a short term stay in NYC!

The building location is ideal, the apartments are well equipped. Since you are on the 5th floor, it takes a long time for the hot water to get there. The apartments are very clean and well maintained. In the description, it says there is A/C but I don't have it.
The apartment is comfortable and extremely convenient as everything is supplied.
The only real downside is the noise because of the number of apartments in the building, there's bound to be some people who are noisier than others, but there isn't much you can do about it.

Here, I'd like to have your feedback on the air conditioning, as of next September 16th, I'm going to rent another apartment in the same building, apartment #8, will it really have A/C?

Thank you

Christophe

Hi Christophe,

We're glad to hear you enjoyed your time on 13th Street. The location is fantastic and we make every effort to accommodate our renters. While we very rarely get complaints regarding excessive noise, we agree some tenants are quieter than others. I guess that's just part of big city living. We hope to see you again in the future.

Best regards,
Darin, Wilson, and Carmen

Thank you for your review Christophe! It sounds like you had a great time during your stay in New York! It is true that in a multi-story building with the boiler located in the basement, you might need to run the water for a couple minutes before it gets hot in the morning, especially if you are on a higher floor. The owner does offer AC, but it is only available from June to September. Since you stayed from January to March, there was no AC available at that time. We have updated our description to make it much clearer exactly when the AC will be available to clients so that we can avoid any confusion in the future!

An excellent location, great landlord, and a cosy home. I lived in this apartment for about a year and half, and loved it.
