Owner and staff were friendly and helpful. (as were New York Habitat )

I'm 71 yrs old but managed the 66 steps without too much difficulty. Expected worse. Wide and newly painted stairway.

Windows allowed lot of light which was pleasant (the new blinds cut it off whenever we wanted).

Neighborhood is fun-with many restaurants and food shops. Enjoyed walking around and seeing parks and buildings.

The subway is very close and the L Train connects to all the up and downtown services. Handy.

Kitchen well equipped -could use a couple smaller/regular sized cups for a simple coffee. TV fine.(add a DVD player would help ).

We borrowed a lamp from friends- main room could use a wall lamp (this is same complaint for most hotel rooms).
