My thoughts on the apartment overall was ok, the roommate/owner was attentive in the beginning, towards the end my needs were not met, and I was a little disappointed. I was also unaware that there would be constant relatives/friends frequenting and staying at the apartment without informing me, as a young woman this could especially become uncomfortable when there are male visitors. There were also a few rodents that I informed the owner about and there was a bit of hesitation on their end to rectify the situation, that was completely confusing to me on my end. There was also a heat problem in the apartment, and since the apartment is on the top floor, the heat rises and causes a banging sound, that was also not addressed seeing as though the sounds were extremely loud and kept me up at night.. Lastly, the experience was literally just ok, not sure if the owner should rent again.. Great individual just not super attentive. However, I am thoroughly grateful for the opportunity to call this place home if only for a short period of time, I am and will always remain eternally grateful to NY Habitat and to the owner.. Thanks! |
