Stay in this renovated four bedroom apartment located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor of a walk-up brownstone building. This apartment is on West 121st Street & Lenox Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan. The unit features high ceilings and many unique furniture pieces and accessories that give the place a lot of character.
The main entrance to the air-conditioned triplex leads into an open space comprised of a living area, a kitchen, and a balcony overlooking the shared garden. The living room has a fireplace and two sofas, as well as a large dining table and piano. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and a dishwasher, and has plentiful cabinet space. The 3rd level has a second a living room, an office area, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi, and two bedrooms with a single bed. On the 4th level you will find an additional bathroom and two other bedrooms, one furnished with a king-size bed and the other with a double bed. This floor has a large skylight, which let in the natural light. Conveniently, there is also a washer and dryer on this floor.
Staying in this furnished four bedroom apartment will give you the opportunity to explore the brownstone neighborhood of Harlem, New York. You will be surrounded by several parks, among them Marcus Garvey Park (1 block right), Morningside Park (4 blocks left), and the NYC landmark, Central Park (11 blocks south). Although your block is quiet and residential, you will be close to lively thoroughfares like 125th street and Lenox Avenue—it has a thriving jazz music scene! There are also great restaurants like the famous Soul food restaurant, Sylvia’s (5 blocks away), and Red Rooster (4 blocks away). Another must-see in this area is a Sunday morning service at one of the many Baptist Gospel churches located all around the neighborhood. Or, if you prefer to see a jazz show, you should definitely visit the Apollo Theater (2 blocks), where major American stars have been born. There are several subways stations nearby. To catch a train downtown, walk to 125 Street / Lenox Avenue (4 blocks north) or 116 Street / Lenox Avenue (7 blocks south) and catch the 2 or 3 trains that run all the way to Brooklyn. Alternatively, head to 116 Street / 8 Avenue (7 blocks), which offers service on the B and C trains, or 125 Street / Saint Nicholas Avenue (6 blocks), where you can access the A,B,C, and D trains.
