Quiet, self-contained garden apartment in a brownstone in the heart of Park Slope, one of Brooklyn?s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods. Our home is on a charming tree-lined street minutes from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket, 7 subway lines, and many restaurants, cafes, and shops.
The guest apartment is a floor-through on the garden floor of our 1876 brownstone; we live upstairs and are available to answer questions or make recommendations. It has a private entrance and a raised sleeping loft with large windows and a queen-size bed overlooking the beautifully maintained rear garden and pond. Below the sleeping loft there's an office. A fold-out bed can accommodate another guest. There?s ample closet space, built-in shelving with cedar-lined drawers and a walk-in pantry. The bathroom has a shower and tub. The spacious living room has abundant natural light, a tin ceiling, built-in bookshelves and a marble fireplace. It connects via sliding glass doors to a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, where you?ll also find a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The television is equipped with both cable and streaming capabilities
