New York Accommodation - 2 Bedroom Rental in Chelsea (NY-9895)

We were met fairly promptly on arrival when we couldn't get the key from the secure spot out front. Apartment wasn't ready but was cleaned soon after. Owner was pleasant with helpful info left for us about the area. When we had a problem with the heating that too was dealt with the following day. i would recommend this apartment and location (nice to be away from super busy area uptown:))

The Cons:
Furniture a bit tired and old
Heat went out the night of the blizzard (we were 16 hours without it) and there were insufficient blankets for us to stay warm, we had to dress the children in their coats to sleep. More blankets and Doona's need to be supplied. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was in a great location - lots of good restaurants nearby and all of the sights were within walking distance! The location was quiet and secure, so it was perfect for a good nights sleep.

The interior was spacious and clean and adequately supplied with blankets, towels and kitchen equipment (however an ironing board would be a good addition). The available Wi-fi was also really helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay and would return to the same apartment if we were back in New York.

All in all very happy with the apartment we rented. Matched description, clean, quiet, pretty good value for the money.

We had a great time in NY and if anybody asks us about a good stay in NY, we tell them about New York Habitat. Staying in a private apartment is better than staying in a hotel and not only because of the lower price.

We had a very happy stay in the apartment in Chelsea and found it in very good condition. [The accommodation owner] was very kind with us, that didn't realize that smoking was forbidden. Now we know it for future plans.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Chelsea Apartment on 20th Street near 9th Avenue. The apartment was clean, quiet, spacious, and convenient. Our host [...] met us promptly upon arrival and departure, and made herself available if we had any questions or problems (which we did not).
The location was perfect for exploring the Chelsea area, especially the French bakery just around the corner, as well as the rest of Manhattan and beyond via subway.

I absolutely loved the apartment!! I had never stayed in Chelsea before, but just adored the neighborhood. The apartment was clean and well stocked, and [the owner] was the perfect host.

The apartment was better that the pics and summary let us to believe. It was very clean and neat and in a great NY location. The apartment was very nice though a bit noisy but I guess that is Manhattan!

The apartment was overall very good.

We found it comfortable and the ambiance wonderful.

The kitchen would benefit from more saucepans (Iım a cook and enjoyed the proximity of Chelsea market) but was other wise fine. The bedrooms were fine and the hot water, heating system worked well. Only one bathroom is slightly inconvenient in the morning.

Broad band connection was very useful.
