Located between Rue Montorgueil and Rue Dussoubs, this charming one-bedroom mezzanine apartment is in the heart of the famous Les Halles/Montorgueil area. It is close to the pedestrian Montorgueil street, with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, as well as other services. It is also very close to the Beaubourg modern art museum, the rue des Lombards Jazz clubs and of course the large underground mall of les Halles. It is also in a short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine River, to the Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cité, to the unique Ile Saint Louis, and to the majestic Louvre Museum. From its adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the historic most known parks in Paris there is a fine perspective - the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe in one direction. The Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel and the glass' pyramid of the Louvre in the other.
It is a central area, very convenient to travel all around Paris.
This vacation rental apartment is situated at the third floor of a five floors eighteen century building. There is a digicode security system and a concierge.
The layout is as followed. The entrance door opens on a small corridor, with the bathroom straight ahead, the living-room on the right, the kitchen on the left, with the stairs that give access to the mezzanine room.
The corridor has a sisal carpeted floor, a table with a flowered tablecloth, lamps and decorative items.
The walls are painted in white and have beams as well.
The living-room has a tiled "tommette" style floor, some sisal carpet, white painted walls with beams and stones, two windows with white and flower decorated curtains ( view on courtyard). There are beams at the ceiling. It is furnished with a trundle bed (sofa during the day), a sofa (that can turn into a very occasional single size accommodation). There is a telephone, a television with cable and dvd, a stereo system, a decorative fireplace, a coffee table with a sisal rug, lamps, different sizes beige wooden tables, a mirror, built-in bookshelves, a beige armchair; a wooden chair, paintings and decorative items.
The bathroom has a blue tiled floor, blue tiled and white painted walls. There is a large salmon pink rounded bathtub, a toilet and a salmon pink washbasin surmounted by a mirror with lamps.
The kitchen has white painted walls with beams, a red-brown tiled floor and a window with a view on the street. It is furnished with a wooden table with five chairs, four vitro-ceramic burners, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee-maker, a toaster, a wooden cabinet, a wooden stool, lamps, paintings and decorative items. There are all necessary utensils.
The mezzanine room has white painted walls with beams and a sisal carpeted floor. There is a king size bed (two single size beds put together), built-in bookshelves, a closet, decorative items and lamps.
The nearest metro station is Réaumur-Sébastopol (Line 3 & 4).
