Full of character, this 1-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom furnished Paris apartment is sure to be the stage for many long-lasting memories. Enjoy the elevated comfort of a loft-area bedroom in a 4th-floor (equivalent to the 5th-floor in the USA) rental at the corner of rue du Vertbois and rue Saint-Martin in Le Marais in Paris’s 3rd Arrondissement. The building has a security system, and the apartment has a washing machine.
Under a gambrel-esque vaulted ceiling, beneath Paris skies, this apartment—with contemporary furnishings—is fully equipped for you to navigate life and its demands. The open kitchen has a washing machine as well as an oven and a fridge/freezer combination unit. When nothing fancy is needed, use the coffeemaker, toaster, and microwave. There is also a dishwasher. A large window above the sink may entice you to hand-wash the dishes from time to time, though. In the living room, there is a TV and a dining table. A sofa bed invites you to sleep beneath a second large window, but the choice bed is above, in the bedroom. This one is a double bed. The bedroom has a TV, too, and a view of the living room below (a benefit for those who wish to have the best bed and a look out the window). The bedroom and living room both have hardwood flooring. In the bathroom, there is a tub/shower combination, and just down the hall you will find the separate toilet.
The 3rd Arrondissement is home to beaucoup de trucs—museums, parks, and fascinating sites. Try the Musée des Arts et Métiers, a museum for invention and the tradition of innovation, located 110 meters (around 360 feet) from the furnished rental. A kilometer away (around 0.6 miles) there is the Musée d’art et d’histoire du Judaïsme. Here also is the Jardin Anne-Frank. If gardens and parks are your thing and you do not want to go a kilometer, the Square Émile Chautemps across the street from the Musée des Arts et Métiers offers greenery. If history and the open air both have a grip on your affections, take a trip three streets from the apartment to the Porte Saint-Martin, a still-standing, 18-meter-tall (around 60 feet) city gate built 350 years ago by order of Louis XIV.
The Arts et Métiers Subway Station is a 350-meter (around 0.22 mile) walk from the apartment and it services the 3 and 11 trains. A similar distance from the apartment, the Réaumur-Sébastopol Station services the 3 and 4 trains. In the other direction, though the same distance away, the Strasbourg Saint-Denis services the 4, 8, and 9 trains.
