We had absolutely no problems at all. The communication from New York Habitat leading up to our stay was fantastic and they kept us well-informed of everything. The apartment that we stayed in (and the assistance from the vacation rental owner) were great. This was the first time we rented an apartment for our vacation and we will definitely be doing so again. The vacation rental was clean, cosy and had all the amenities you could wish for such as dishwasher, Internet
access, etc. The owner was very welcoming and provided tips on sights and restaurants in the area. The guestbook was also a great; providing ideas and comments from previous guests on their experiences. |

I really loved the apartment we stayed at in Spanish Harlem. It was so close to the 6 line, it was really easy to get to anywhere in Manhattan. The vacation rental was bright, clean and airy - in an up and coming area it had only been built very recently so the bathroom and kitchen were brand new. There was plenty of room for all our stuff with the huge closets and laundry was in the basement. I am recommending it to my friends who are visiting New York City this year. Thanks New York Habitat for having such a great apartment available. Thanks again. |

Once again we had a wonderful New York experience, next time we will visit for no less than 1 month so we have time to do everything we want to do.

[The owners] were excellent landlords, very friendly and warm even both personally welcoming us to the vacation rental and New York at midnight. [...]
The apartment was clean, comfortable and big enough to stretch out and feel like we lived in New York, rather than a hotel room.
The bed was very welcoming and comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook a gourmet dinner.[...]
As you can tell I was very happy with the apartment and the service [your agent] once again provided from New York Habitat. I have promoted
nyhabitat.com to friends who have also booked apartments and have also been happy with the service.
When I do come back to New York I will definitely use nyhabitat.com again. |

We rented this apartment in July 2008. It was really a good place to visit New York. The subway is very close [...] and drove us anywhere we wanted. East Harlem is a very [nice] neighborhood.
[The accommodation owners] welcomed us as if we were friends...

The [New York] apartment was great, better than expected. It is ideal for 2 people and it has everything for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the location [El Barrio) although we think that some people may not like it. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He even gave us a guided tour through the neighborhood showing us places to eat, do the groceries, etc. He even taught us the basics to dealing with the NYC subway system. He also provided us with brochures of New York City and a set of 50 cards on New York walks. We used these cards a lot, which allowed us visiting great and relatively quiet (considering it is New York City) places. |

[...] We were welcomed by the owner of the apartment [who] has been perfect : he showed us the vacation rental, all the rooms and explained us the functioning of the kitchen. Then in spite of the late hour, he showed us the neighbourhood and indicated to us the nearest shops and the subway.
