Beautiful one bedroom loft with sleeping alcove in Chelsea
|
Location: Chelsea / Flatiron District. On 18th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue. Close to the 1 train at 18th street, the N, R, 4, 5, 6, L trains at Union Square.
Building: Prewar walk-up building . No elevator but laundry facilities in the apartment.
Interior: 1500 sq. ft. one bedroom loft facing south, modern furniture, high ceilings, and laundry facilities.
The apartment can accommodate two people. NO SMOKING. NO PETS.
Beautiful loft with large open space when you come in including a living room, the kicthen and two alcoves. The living room corner with a sofa, a cable TV with 300+ channels including HBO, Showtime and video on demand, DVD player and surround sound player. There is a huge a/c in the window. Between the living room and the bedroom is one alcove where the owner stores her items and another one that can be used as an office. The kitchen is in stainless steel, it is open and has all appliances necessary. It has dishwasher, microwave, large fridge, toaster, juicer, blender and pots and pans. There is a very large dining table that sits ten.
The bedroom is in the back and has a queen size bed. There is also a TV with VCR/DVD.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and in the closet are the laundry machine.
High speed wireless internet available in the apartment.
Neighborhood: Chelsea, an extremely lively art gallery neighborhood to the west, which has spawned numerous excellent restaurants. There are movie theaters, great shopping and all conveniences along Eighth Avenue and further west. To the east, both Fifth and Sixth Avenues between Fourteenth and Twenty-third Street are lively shopping areas with a huge variety clothing and specialty of stores. A ten minute walk south puts you in the heart of Greenwich Village, while the same time to the north gets you to 34th Street and Madison Square Garden or Macy's. The Famous Chelsea Piers Sports Complex is a fifteen minute walk west on the Hudson River with health and fitness facilities (pool, gym, classes, rock climbing etc.) roller blading, two ice skating rinks, bowling alley, driving range and a wide variety of children's programs. There are endless things to do in this neighborhood and a wide variety of great restaurants.
