Modern one-bedroom in a Hotel Particulier in the Marais

Neighborhood:
The apartment is situated near the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, with its various art galleries. This street is also very close to Les Halles Mall, which means it is about a 10-minute walk to the Louvre and the adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, as well as to the Seine with its unique islands, Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis.
This place is also located near the oldest house in Paris (built in 1407) in which the alchemists Nicolas and Pernelle Flamel lived. There is a lovely restaurant on the premises where patrons can dine in the same rooms where these famous alchemists and philanthropists once did. The facade of the building is essentially as it was 600 years ago, but the restaurant inside is much more modern.
In addition to the French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, there are all sorts of services and conveniences in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor (fifth in the USA) of a 17th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system, which opens into an authentic 17th century paved courtyard protected by an intercom.
The 23m² (approx. 245 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows with rolling blinds overlooking the courtyard with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a sofa, an armchair, a coffee table and a dining table with chairs. This room has access to a walk-in closet containing the combo washing machine/dryer.
The open kitchen is equipped with four vitro-ceramic burners and a microwave oven.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window overlooking the courtyard with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table, a desk and two built-in closets.
Off the bedroom there is access to the bathroom, which contains a shower, a washbasin, a toilette, an electric towel dryer and a built-in closet.
The nearest metro station is Rambuteau (line 11).
Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
