Located on Fanshaw Street near Hoxton Street, it is in London’s East End in the borough of Hackney and district of Shoreditch. This period building was once a warehouse used as a workshop in the 1920s and has since been updated and turned into a duplex apartments. The building has a communal laundry room with a washing machine and a sink, as well as a security system in place.

It is comprised of two levels; the bottom level is an open plan, with a reception/living area to the left upon entry, which has a sofa, dining table, and television complete with cable channels. There is an open kitchen to the right of the entryway, ready to help you prepare simple meals; it has a microwave oven and a toaster for your use. The bathroom, complete with a shower, is located just past the kitchen. A set of stairs takes you up to the alcove area above, where the sleeping area is located; here you will find a double-sized bed. There is also access to a terrace to enjoy a bit of the outdoors.
As mentioned, Hoxton is a fashionable neighborhood, loaded with restaurants and shops. Hoxton Square, which is just 0.3 km/0.2 miles away to the south from this alcove studio vacation rental accommodation, is a hub for dozens of restaurants featuring many different cuisines; there are also plenty of ‘trendy’ bars and pubs for you to partake of a taste of local London, including Common, Trafik, and Mother Bar. Hoxton Square also features many shops to browse through, with fashions, shoes, and many other items to be tempted by. If that’s not enough, you’ll find plenty more shopping and dining around Spitalfields (1.3 km/0.8 miles south) and Brick Lane (1.5 km/0.9 miles to the southeast). For transportation to reach other areas of London, you can pick up a bus along Old Street (0.6 km/0.4 miles to the south) or Shoreditch High Street (0.5 km/0.3 miles to the east). There’s also the London Underground (subway) system to get you around London; the Old Street underground station is located 0.8 km/0.5 miles away to the west, while Liverpool Station is 1.7 km/1.1 miles away to the south. From this fashionable hub of London, you can experience much of London’s daytime shopping and nightlife entertainment, as well as be close to transportation to take you to famous sites throughout the city!
