You’ll be in the heart of Manhattan’s Upper East Side with this modern two bedroom apartment! Located at 2nd Avenue & 86th Street, the fully furnished rental is in an elevator building with a doorman and a shared laundry room.

Parquet flooring adds to the ambiance of the space, complementing the contemporary décor. In the living room, a dining table lets you enjoy meals from the fully equipped kitchen (there’s even a dishwasher for easy clean-up!). There is also a futon facing a cable TV, great for relaxing with your favorite shows. The two bedrooms are similarly furnished, though bedroom 1 has a king bed and bedroom 2 has a queen. Both have air conditioning and off of bedroom 2 is a private balcony with views of the surrounding area.

One of New York’s most desirable areas, the Upper East Side of Manhattan has lots to offer!

  • Classic NYC eateries in the neighborhood include Papaya King (.2mi/300m) and Shake Shack (.2mi/350m), both on your street.
  • If you prefer to eat at home, head to Whole Foods (.3mi/500m) or Fairway Market (470ft/160m) and pick up fresh or prepared food.
  • You can stroll around Central Park (.6mi/900m) on sunny days or head to the East 86th Street Cinema (.1mi/220m) if the weather’s less nice.

We had a truly terrible experience renting this apartment and with your company.
For starters, we were not put in the apartment we signed a lease for. When we reached out to get the keys to move in, we had trouble even getting a response until the day before our move.
The unit we moved into had a huge hole in a closet door and 1 electrical outlet in the kitchen, half of which was for the fridge. The shelves on the fridge door fell off upon the fridge being opened. The coat closet reeked of mold. The bathroom vent was covered in dust. One of the bedroom doors wouldn't close. We found extensive mold on one of the bedroom's ceilings.
On our first night in the unit a bedroom air conditioner flooded one of the bedrooms. We had to argue to not be forced to move 50 blocks away while the floor was being fixed. We eventually had to move into and out of a temporary unit in the building on weekdays, on our own. We had left a few things in the unit while the floors were being fixed and the cleaning person, unable to reach the leasing agent to ask about it, threw it out. We lost books, toys and food. We weren't even given an apology.
I would never recommend your company or this building to anyone. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had.
