Apartment is very nice, room is quite large for this price in Manhattan. Bed is nice, kitchen has ample supplies, decent location and proximity to subways. internet could have been a bit better, some nights the connection was quite spotty even with a wifi booster, but this could have been due to the service provider in the building itself. All in all an excellent sublet.

The apartment is in keeping with the pictures, it is spacious, bright, it seems like a studio. Having stayed most of my time only with the owner, as his schedule was busy, I felt like living in his own apartment most of the time. The location and the building are very nice and clean.

Finally, the owner really is the best host in the world, he's kind, funny and devoted, but most importantly he was there for me during my misadventure in New York and always eager to help if needed.

I highly recommend this apartment share.

Great experience. Very considerate and understanding owner despite the fact that he's rarely around. The apartment is an 8-minute walk from the subway and 1 minute away from various busses. Very sunny apartment with a view of Central Park (a 30-second walk).

The apartment is very well located. The host is very nice. A cleaning lady comes once a month, which is very useful. A great experience in this apartment for the price.

Personally, I had a wonderful experience. The owner works long hours and is hardly ever home, so because of that it gets very quiet and almost feels like you're living by yourself. For someone who constantly needs to be around people and does not enjoy spending time alone, I do not recommend living here.

However, if you're like me, someone who keeps to themselves and enjoy being alone, this is the absolute perfect living situation. The apartment is very clean and very comfortable. If you ever need anything, although the owner is hardly ever home, he is just a phone call/text message away. He is very good about responding to your needs in a timely manner.

The location was perfect. Far enough from midtown to get some piece and quiet, but close enough to easily get around. The two subway stations are just a couple blocks away, you have the 2 and the 3 on one side, and then the 5 and 6 in the opposite direction. This makes it very easy to get around the west and east side, without making transfers.

Personally, for me, this was quite nice, as I am not a fan of waiting around for trains and transferring over a hundred times. Overall, my experience was wonderful, I wouldn't change it for the world!

Glad you enjoyed it; it was great having you! New York City life is such a transient lifestyle that I'm either always at work or out enjoying the city, but it was fun having an invisible housemate.

The location of the apartment is great, on the fifth avenue, very safe ! Unfortunately, I don't think this is a great apartment for foreign people who wish to practice, the few times I spent at home, I was most of it alone. So don't expect to talk a lot.

Thank you for your review of my apartment and the feedback.

1) Regarding the cleanliness: I have worked out a deal with the cleaning lady who lives locally to come in once a week and clean all the common areas of the apartment.
2) Regarding the noise/quiet : The 5th Ave traffic can get noisy at times but I feel that it's a small price to pay for a central park and water view from each room.

Since its a modern apt and each room has its own door alongside one long hallway it can get quiet when nobody is home especially late October through January because of the
holidays which is the time you were staying at the apartment.

I have started offering the house guests the opportunity to share weekend meals together. This will give us the opportunities to talk and share stories about new york life. Over the past few years I have made long term friendships with at least 4 past roommates.
