This fully furnished room with private bath is located on the top floor of a 12-story wing of this luxury mid-rise building on Roosevelt Island, Manhattan. The building has a 24-hour doorman, elevators, a well-lit newly renovated laundry in the basement, an Olympic size swimming pool and a fully equipped fitness room. (Please note that the swimming pool and fitness room are only available for guests who stay at least 3 months).
This bright apartment has a terrace, and beautiful views of the East River and Manhattan skyline. The bedroom has a full-size bed, two end tables, a wicker chair, two dressers, and a large desk where you can comfortably access the wireless internet. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, shower and medicine cabinet. Bed linens and towels are provided.
The kitchen, which is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven and coffee maker, is available to share with the owner for light cooking during normal eating hours. There is limited access to the living room upon pre-arranged agreement with the owner.
Roosevelt Island is a lovely residential neighborhood of Manhattan, nestled in the East River under the 59th St. Bridge with distinct views of the Manhattan Skyline including the United Nations and the Empire State buildings. This unique neighborhood is full of parks, promenades, bicycle and jogging paths as well as its own Supermarket, Starbucks coffee shop, Duane Reade Pharmacy, Deli, Sushi restaurant, ‘Riverwalk’ Sports Grill and cleaners, all within close walking distance of the residential buildings.
Roosevelt Island is located one short subway stop on the F train from Lexington Avenue and 63rd St. where you can connect by free transfer to the N, R, Q, 4, 5 & 6 trains, (or you can take its iconic Aerial Tramway to Second Avenue and 60th St. for transfer to the same trains).

Apartment was big , secure , comfortable ,clean and quite . I spent 3 great mounths in this apartment . Private bathroom was clean and big enough.kitchean had all equipment . Georganna was a great host , She was nice ,very friendly , helpful and perfect teacher for me . I felt at home when I stayed with her . I highly recommended Georganna 's apartment . |

Fantastic river view, totally different with the NY city, beautiful, peaceful and always can make me feel relax when I come back. Owner also is a very nice, warm hear person, like to offer help. Swimming pool is another advantage I want to recommended. |

I was very lucky to have found an apartment like the one I stayed at on Roosevelt Island, on Manhattan's Upper East side. It is bright and comfortable, with beautiful views of the Manhattan Skyline and the East River. My bedroom has its own private bath with a shower and bathtub and I had access to a full kitchen and W i-Fi service. I also took advantage of the building's Olympic size swimming pool and fully equipped gym. The building has a clean and modern look and has elevators, a doorman and concierge. |
