The appartment is in perfect location. I was running at central park several times as it is right in front of the house. The positive vibrance of Midtown sourounds the place. Restaurants, Yoga studios,... everything is close. Subway just 1m from the builidng entrance. Traffic is typical for Manhattan so you have a bit of noise but you close the windows and the noise stay outside and you can relax in your room. The kitchen is well equipped, I was cooking a lot. The room mate had the same habits like me, means we where very well organized and dishes, clothes ,... never molests you. The house is a bit dated as it is around 70 yerars old and you have to get used to adjust the shower for the right temperature. It just take a short time and then everything is easy. The room mate helps in questions to NYC as he is living there since more then 35 years. I had a great time in NYC and Frederic was a great room mate and big help.

Dear Ralf,
Thank you for your good review. You never mentioned anything during your stay about the shower-head. Overall the experience was excellent. You were probably the best roommate I have had: polite, clean, discreet and friendly.

My stay could not have been better. The apartment was beautiful and the location was unbeatable for New York. You are literally in the middle of everything. The building is next to a subway station with train lines to all over the city. At night there is some street noise, but it is New York after all. The noise did not bother me as it is part of the experience of being in a city. The housemate was so hospitable and lovely. He was able to answer all questions and was extremely kind and friendly!
