It is also easy walking distance from Montparnasse. The area around this accommodation is celebrated for its elegant, trendy streets and for its many pleasure options, stylish fashion shops, a traditional elegant mall, antique shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants and cafes. In short distance is the renowned Boulevard Saint Germain, the ravishing Luxembourg Garden, the Seine River, and most of the monuments and points of interest. Also in this neighborhood are excellent quality services such as fine bakeries, select supermarkets, and the well-known daily Buci open air market.

Premises:

This studio apartment is located on the first floor of a 19th century walk-up building.

The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a courtyard. A second door with a coded security system opens into a hall leading to the staircase.

The apartment entrance opens directly into the living room.

The living room has two double-glazed windows with southeastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a desk and chair, a small dining table, a built-in closet, two chests of drawers, and bookshelves with a TV, a DVD player and a stereo.

The separate kitchen has a double-glazed window with southeastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is equipped with four electric plates, a refrigerator, a microwave, an oven, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster.

The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet. There is also a combo washer/dryer.

Heat and hot water are both electric.

For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Sevres Babylone (line 12) and Saint-Sulpice (line 4).

Apartment Rental: 12 months

Lived there a full year. It was difficult dealing with the landlord. Asked to pay for services without submission of bills and receipts. Repairs to the apartment that should have lasted 2 weeks took over two months. Water pressure is low and hot water heater not working well. Internet/Wifi kept dropping regularly. Did not renew lease because of this.

Thank you for choosing my apartment Christina. First, I would like to inform you that I hosted dozens of guests in this apartment, who stayed at least a year and were very happy. After spending 10 months in the apartment, you renewed your lease for another year. However, I informed you that I still intended to renovate the kitchen, as I told you before, as soon as the apartment would be available.

It was not just some repairing in the apartment but a complete renovation after moving the electricity meter and replacing the kitchen. In August, you told me that you no longer wish to renew the lease, just after the apartment has been completely refurbished. After changing your mind, you received all the proofs, such as the electricity reading. Of course, the cleaning fee is missing as the hours are paid. Despite the provided proofs, you did not pay the electricity bill.

The city provides standard water pressure to all its inhabitants (and nobody ever complained about it). The "SFR Box" is a standard service provided for millions of customers. The water heater is brand new as it has been replaced 16 months ago and the current tenant did not complain about it. I also tried it and hot water is easily provided in the kitchen and the bathroom
