The apartment is wonderfully located, about 10 minutes walk from La Croisette and 15 to 20 min walk to Le Palais des festival (less than 5 min drive away.).
There are all kinds of shop with very short walking distance.
The white-sand beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the most famous throughout the French Riviera.
After W.W. II, Cannes quickly became the haunt of crowned heads and billionaires, then the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions. Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels. On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented : among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel - or Hermès.
The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is 30 minutes to the east. Here, the Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone: Italy is only 1 hour away. Aix en Provence is 90 minutes distant.
