Neighborhood:
Located between Rue Vieille du Temple and Rue Gharlot, this furnished apartment is in a charming area of Paris with old buildings and hotels particuliers. The accommodation is in a quiet part of the Marais, which has many trendy cafes, restaurants and shops. The neighborhood has plenty of facilities and services and it overflows with artist galleries and design shops. In short walking distance are the Place de la Bastille, the oldest square in Paris, Place des Vosges, the Picasso Museum and Place de la Republique. A few minutes from the Picasso Museum, there are numerous galleries, restaurants, cafes, and all sorts of convenience shops.
Premises:
This 38m² (approx. 405 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the first floor of a recently constructed building. The main entrance gate is protected by an intercom and opens into a nice paved courtyard leading to the building, also with a coded system.
This last door opens into a hall with access to the elevator. The apartment has a southwestern exposure.
The 23m² (approx. 245 sq. ft.) main room has a double-glazed window overlooking the courtyard and a glass door that accesses the 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) terrace. The terrace is surrounded by plants and is furnished with a dining table and chairs.
The living room is furnished with a double-size sofa bed surrounded by two built-in closets, a chest of drawers, a cupboard, a dining table with chairs and a console with a small TV and DVD player. There is also a second sofa bed used as a guest bed.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four electric plates topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, an Italian-style coffee maker and a small washing machine.
The bathroom contains a bathtub, a washbasin and a small cabinet.
The toilette is separate.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building.
Please note that there is a school nearby so we can hear the children playing during the day.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Filles du Calvaire (line 8).

My opinion on the apartment and the owner is very positive. The terrace and the neighborhood are probably the apartment's strong points. There's no TV. |
