The last moments were complicated. I had issues with the landlady because I burned a saucepan a little bit, I thought it was not right at all. These issues became disproportionate and made me feel very sad to the extent that I was afraid to be told off when I got home each night. Her reactions were completely exaggerated and inappropriate. I also think that this apartment is not clean, as you live with cats that throw up on the carpet and it is only cleaned 2 days after.

Dear Caroline, I too was disappointed at several instances that occurred during your stay with us. I was certain that we did leave on good terms, and I even offered you the room again when it becomes available July of this year.

My cats are very well taken care of despite an occasional digestive problem Spanky has that is being treated by a local veterinarian. I do my best to provide a clean and well maintained, fully furnished and functioning apartment.

I wish you the best of luck in your future, and if you ever need anything in NYC or wherever, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Very well located apartment in Manhattan, next to Central Park and Columbia University, and surrounded by numerous restaurants. Neighborhood is very quiet and safe. It is very easy to travel throughout the city thanks to the subway line 1 whose station is 3 blocks from the apartment.
The landlady is really lovable, funny and endearing, and very reassuring. She is always available when needed and does her best so that you feel most comfortable in her accommodation.
You really feel at home in this shared apartment, both cats which are living here are very kind, quiet and entertaining.
The second roommate was also exceptional, we got along very well.
Very nice experience and very happy encounters.
I highly recommend this apartment for a fantastic stay in the Big Apple.

This place is just like at home because of Lisa. The room is clean, confortable and cozy. The neighborhood is safe, family and friendly. There are a lot of restaurants and grocery store. The subway is at 4 minutes with the line 1.

Lisa is always taking care about us but she knows how to stay in the right place.

My experience in this apartment was AMAZING ! Thanks you so much for everything Lisa !

I had a great stay, the landlord is an absolutely lovely person and Columbia as well as the subway are in walking distance. There are great restaurants in the area and with the Broadway nearby, I have always felt safe. I totally recommend the place!

The apartment was quaint and a little haven away from the bustling streets of Downtown Manhattan. Tucked above a quiet street that is closely located to the 1 train and many delicious restaurants. There is a gym with lots of various yoga classes located conveniently next door too!

The interior of the apartment was cozy, clean and filled with lots of homely energy. The room in which I stayed (the back room off the kitchen) was small, but with lots of storage space and a very comfortable bed. There are two cats that also inhabit this endearing little apartment, who are full of personality and very affectionate.

The owner of the apartment is super chilled, fun and a great conversationalist. If you are looking for a neat hideaway in a wonderful part of the city and not at an exorbitant cost, I highly recommend this place!
