New York Accommodation - 2 Bedroom Rental in Bedford Stuyvesant (NY-15041)

Great apartment ++++: convenient location for stores and subway alike, apartment is comfortable, air conditioned, quiet and very well equipped. Arrival is made easy thanks to the box for the keys.
The description is totally in keeping with reality (take into account the last photos of the kitchen, be observant!)
In short, excellent stay in this Brooklyn vacation rental.

A few details can still be improved:
- an instruction manual (especially for the A/C) would be welcome
- in the bedrooms, blinds that work would have helped at night (because of the time difference)

We didn't meet Carleen (who was on vacation) but we'd surely have enjoyed talking with her about the neighborhood etc.... However she was very responsive via messages. Her son handled the arrival and departure formalities.

Do not hesitate any longer if you want to stay in Brooklyn.

Very well equipped apartment for a family. Close to metro stations. Very nice follow-up from the owner.

I consider the price-quality ratio satisfactory, although I do not have any further direct experience of apartments in NYC. The landlady has been a nice and helpful person. We would have liked to pay with credit cad or wire-money. Improvable - at least according to our European standards - are the air conditioning system, quite antiquated and very loud, as well as the bathroom: I suggest purchasing a new anti-slip mat for the bathtub, as well are the replacing the fixed hose with a flexible one, inasmuch as it would allow one to shower better and it would save water.

The landlady was very nice and welcoming. She gave us advice about the neighborhood. The apartment is not far from the subway station. It is not the best area in Brooklyn, but it is very quiet.

Awesome apartment, perfectly fit for a family of 4 (2 parents and 2 kids). Nice decoration, very comfortable beds, which is very pleasant when you are walking in Manhattan streets all day long :).
This is a very pleasant and quiet neighborhood, which is actually being updated. When you are in the crazy city during the day, it is very relaxing not to hear a sound at night. We discovered a new aspect of the Big Apple.

very unimpressive (a bit surprising when you get there) but safe neighborhood. On the other hand excellent access to Manhattan with the subway C line, direct to the landmarks and to Brooklyn for cheap shopping. overall, a good deal for a family.

Lovely, homely apartment. Really good value for money. Pictures are not entirely up to date : the furniture is much nicer now. Good lay-out: although the apt is quite small, the space is extremely well used.
The kitchen offers everything you'd want, even when you are into elaborate cooking. The bathroom is very small, which could require some organising in the morning if there are 6 guests staying. The neighbourhood is quiet and relaxed. There is an excellent deli supermarket across the street. Subway into Manhattan is a 7' walk. The owner is very welcoming; she gave us very good culinary tips; she's there when you need her without being overly present at any time.
We had a wonderful week and recommend this place to families with children and friends sharing an apt.
