With Midtown West's location near many important sites and variety of vacation rentals options in the neighborhood, it has become one of the most popular areas to rent an accommodation.

The Garment District is where today's top clothing designers have studios and where many of the design schools are located. The New School's Parsons School of Design is located in the Garment District.

Hell's Kitchen is the section of Midtown West that is up against the Hudson River. At one time, the Irish Mafia was very powerful in the neighborhood therefore earning the name Hell's Kitchen.
